Oh so many stories related to this outfit I don’t know where to start but as I am on a time limit a quick nod to my mama 70s style icon and wearer of culottes and cork platforms (if only I had a spaghetti strapped elastic waisted floral pants suit with tapered legs to wear with stilettos).
The sun came out – time for some ice cream-coloured clothing. Esprit super-sale skirt and Old Navy beads with Zara t-shirt with girlie bits – actually my sister bought the same one!
The ultimate fashion statement – heading to Bunnings for supplies then home to create my flamingo enclosure. Believe it or not this t-shirt is also a hand-me-down from my elegant aunt bought in 3 sizes for a work team event! How did she know I would love them so much? One of them is my painting shirt and this one will be good for gardening today. I promise to put on something more glamorous for Flamingo Warming Beverages this evening. I do love this t-shirt.
After years of hunting Flamingos for my astro-turf, further inspired by my favourite character in the film Gnomeo & Juliet, I finally have a pair of flamingos to adorn my balcony thanks to Absolutely Fabulous in Logan Road Woolongabba.
Oh these white pants have been in the bottom of a pile on a shelf for years after being purchased to go with a red top one 42-degree Christmas. I think they need a shorter top but definitely need to be worn with something fitted. For some Where’s Wally weekend wear – my Target stripes.
I promised a friend at work I wouldn’t wear black and white today. This dress was purchased in a super sale at Zara for my dressing up box. It crept out for a 50th with a multi colour theme and it’s been in my wardrobe ever since.
…been in the mood for gyoza since tying on my obi on Day 53. I bought this t-shirt at one of my favourite little hole in the wall shops in Hong Kong when it was closing down and I had had these super blue shoes for a while so I love being able to wear them together – super matchy platforms help me get in the mood for Japanese-y dinner!
Red and purple feature a lot in my often black wardrobe but couldn’t find the right top for these pants – fab little hand-me-downs from my aunt oh this top is too. I bought it in size 8 and she bought it in 10 but my 8 is in the wash … Wonder if this is a but baggy with these pants but had to get out the door!
