Well the weekend’s over and my Singalong Sound of Music fiesta is over, too. A perfect day for jeans and a T-shirt at www.coorparoobowlsclub.com.au for a family day of bowls, lunch and catching up with great music from one of my best friends.

Yoga days – nothing like that feeling of looking after body and soul. After a night of hilarity – so much fun and laughter, it was just as lovely to have silence and breathe and stretch to relaxation. Thank you Nike stretchy pants and Cotton On striped T to get me through.
No students today and no meetings. Just me and my computer getting ready for next week so I got permission to wear my jeans on work day as, for some weird reason, they make me super productive. And I have big dreams of not coming to work over the weekend … Dreams being the operative word! Finished at 8 last night but it may not have helped.
My first ever high waisted jeans that I purchased in Melbourne when my niece was born … She is now 6 … Maybe it is time to add jeans to the fantasy wardrobe list. Esprit jumper that I love for the hot pink stripes in the checks.

Just a little drop of colour in my outfit today – my beautiful new brooch received from a student yesterday.
The rest is my work mode dress from Veronika Maine to get me in the zone for presentation day. But my main focus today was to have my new brooch on display.
3 of my students have had birthdays in the last 2 days so we had cakes at mornings tea today and I am sure they are just a few years older than 17 
.
It’s only 3 days till Singalong Sound of Music so I’m getting in the zone on Hump Day and wearing my favourite curtain fabric skirt … Well it was before I made my costume for Friday!
Vintage belt from HK, Zara greeness and my swishy skirt – a hand-me-down from my sister about 20 years after mum made this for her when she was in Grade 10.
Speaking of making your own clothes, we sewed up a storm last night to get our costumes ready for Singalong Sound of Music on Friday night.
But today my skirt is actually a teaching tool – I’m teaching onomatopoeia and learning & teaching vocab through sound. I am wearing the swish.

I’m not really complaining – I am loving the challenge and loving the creativity. I found a new (hand-me-down from my sister) belt and earrings for this dress this morning and mixed it up with a jumper too. Thanks for the tip Laura
